IPEC . . . 1997 - 2010:

The International Petroleum Environmental Consortium (IPEC) was a joint effort of four major research universities--The University of Tulsa, The University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, and The University of Arkansas. IPEC's mission was to increase the competitiveness of the domestic petroleum industry through a reduction in the cost of compliance with U.S. environmental regulations.
