REPORTING PERIOD: Jul. 24, 2000 – Oct. 23, 2000
- Testing was completed on all tank-bottom sludges.
- Freeze-thaw testing was completed on roadbase mixtures.
- Toxic characteristics leaching procedure testing was completed on roadbase mixtures.
- 48-hour acute toxicity testing was completed on leachate from roadbase mixtures.
PLANNED ACTIVITIES FOR NEXT QUARTER:
- Analyze samples for normally-occurring radioactive material (NORM).
- Prepare final report on project.
- Give presentation on project at the 7th International Petroleum Environmental Conference.
- Begin preparation of paper for peer-reviewed materials engineering journal.
